I learned a lot about family, and the value of your relationships being in Guam. I believe islanders know what the word family means more than anyone I've met.
If you are ever hungry on Guam, there is an aunty or par's house you can go to and guaranteed you will leave there with a full stomach.
If you ever lose power on Guam, there is someone in the family with a generator, or an outside kitchen with all the works.
If you are ever lonely, or bored on Guam, there is someone you know having a bbq at their ranch or the beach.
When you are out doing your errands on Guam, there will be at least one person that will speak, and smile, make your entire day.
If you ever need a reminder of the wonderful Savior and Father we have and you are on Guam, just look up at the sky, you are guaranteed to be amazed by His work.
